📖【Role Overview】
- Position: Senior Cruise and Expedition Tour Manager
- Location: Bukit Jalil, Malaysia OR Taiwan
- Contract: 12-month renewable contract
- Language Requirements: English & Chinese reading & writing & Cantonese speaking are required
📝【Job Responsibility】
- Cruise Partnerships: Develop and manage relationships with cruise companies, negotiating the best deals for group bookings and exclusive options, with a focus on polar expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctica.
Tour Onboard: Add new cruise and expedition tours to the company website, making sure listings are accurate and complete.
Website and Brochure Preparation: Create clear tour descriptions, itineraries, and brochures for the website and marketing materials, emphasising standout features of expeditions.
Operations Guidance: Guide the operations team in managing bookings, logistics, and smooth tour delivery, including coordination with land operators as required.
Customer Service Oversight: Guide the customer support team in delivering strong pre-sale advice and post-sale assistance to boost client satisfaction.
Trend Monitoring: Track trends in the cruise and expedition sector to improve our offerings and spot new growth areas, especially in polar tours.
📌【Requirements】
- At least 5 years in the tourism or cruise field, with hands-on experience in cruise partnerships and polar expedition tours.
Solid negotiation skills and deep knowledge of cruise operations, including deal setup and handling unique aspects like Arctic and Antarctic logistics and add-on activities.
Strong project management with attention to budgets, timelines, and quality details.
Open to learning and flexible in a fast-moving work setting.
Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate well with global partners and teams. Cantonese is a plus.
