2025 In-Person In-Depth Travel Talks

What does travel mean to you?

Last week, we took part in a travel expo and chatted with all sorts of friends, old and new. Some shared that, at a certain point, they no longer want travel to be just eating, playing and shopping; some want to step beyond the major cities and popular attractions to experience the most authentic side of a place; and others lamented that travel time is always too short, wishing they could stay longer, or even try living abroad for a while.

We have been running in-depth tours for over 10 years, from mysterious lands like North Korea and Iran to more familiar destinations such as Japan and Morocco — more than 30 destinations in all. For us, travel should be fun, but it should also mean truly getting to know the world. So at every stop, we delve into history and culture, marvel at geographical wonders, and connect authentically with local people, uncovering as much as we can.

In early March, we will hold a series of in-person in-depth travel talks, sharing what we have seen and experienced on our journeys to various places, and introducing the in-depth itineraries we have designed. For the North Korea segment, our founder Rubio has just returned from the Rason Special Economic Zone in North Korea, and will talk about the latest changes in the country after five years of closed borders; while for the 100 Famous Japanese Mountains segment, we have invited OutsiderzEX to explain the features and landscapes of different routes. You are welcome to join any session to learn more about the destinations you are interested in.
