On this journey, the DeWonder Travel team ventures deep into the Balkans to uncover the socialist-era relics of the past, piecing together the story of the vanished Yugoslav federation. Wander through castles and churches that feel frozen in time, stroll among rugged and nostalgic architecture, and soak in the coastal charm of the Balkan Peninsula. Head to Serbia to visit the capital of the Yugoslav era and explore how life changed from the Tito era to the aftermath of the civil war. Delve into Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia, revisiting the battlegrounds where Yugoslavia fell apart and reflecting on the ethnic struggles across the Balkan Peninsula.

- ✓All local transport during the trip, with coach transfers throughout (except during free time)
- ✓Accommodation in a local hotel twin room during the trip, two people sharing a room (an upgrade to a single room carries a surcharge of HKD 7,500)

- ✓One English-speaking Balkan expert guide accompanying the group
- ✓At least one DeWonder Travel in-depth tour leader leading the group
- ✓Admission fees to all attractions during the tour (except during free time)
- ✓A Balkan information pack, Balkan travel tips and related reading materials compiled by our experts and the DeWonder Travel team
- ✓A stamp duty equivalent to 0.15% of the tour fee, to obtain protection under the "Travel Industry Compensation Fund" and the "Package Tour Accident Contingency Fund Scheme"
Not Included
- ✕Round-trip air tickets between Hong Kong and the Balkans
- ✕Additional personal spending (meals during free time, food and drinks, activities outside the itinerary, and souvenirs)
- ✕Tips for the tour leader, local guides and drivers, at a minimum of 20 euros per day
- ✕Tourist visas for the Balkan countries (holders of Hong Kong and Macau passports enjoy visa-free stays of 30 days)
- ✕Travel insurance
Additional Notes
- During the tour, the local guide will provide commentary in English, while the in-depth tour leader will explain in Cantonese. If needed, the tour leader can also supplement the commentary in English or Mandarin.
- If the hotels specified in the itinerary above are unable to provide accommodation, we will arrange a stay at a hotel of equivalent standard.
- The local guide may adjust the itinerary as circumstances require. Should any part of the itinerary not proceed as scheduled, our team will do its utmost to provide the best possible alternative.
