The DeWonder Travel team will venture deep into the icy world of Antarctica, exploring this magnificent yet fragile ecosystem. Our itinerary not only covers Antarctica's most popular sites, but also features special guest Chris Leung, who will share his knowledge of ecology and biology throughout the trip. Along the way, by observing a wide array of wildlife such as penguins, seals, and whales, we will gain a deeper understanding of these species' roles within the ecosystem, appreciate their importance, and examine the threats that climate change poses to Antarctica's unique ecological environment and biodiversity.

Chris Leung is a travel programme host and producer who has spent years creating numerous travel shows with a strong focus on ecology, including ViuTV's "Roaming" series and J2's "Backpacking" series. With extensive ecological knowledge and observational experience, he graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. He has interned at East African savanna reserves, watched whales up close within the Arctic Circle, camped on Alaskan glaciers, trekked through the Amazon rainforest at night, observed Komodo dragons up close in Indonesia, sought giant tortoises and hammerhead sharks in the Galápagos "Evolution Islands," and tracked anteaters across South American grasslands. Living by the motto "The world is vast—it would be a shame not to see it," he earned his Divemaster qualification in 2018, delivered two series of online zoology lectures grounded in academic theory across eight sessions in 2020–2021, and published two written works: "And So, I Backpacked the Earth" in 2019 and "Once More, Roaming the Earth" in 2023. Better a safari than a Ferrari, better bottle-carrying diving than free-flow drinks—the natural world reigns supreme.

Founded in 1991, Quark Expeditions brings 33 years of experience specialising in taking passengers to remote polar regions. The team operates a professional fleet of expedition vessels equipped with modern facilities, led by seasoned polar experts and scientists. All expedition staff undergo comprehensive training at Quark Academy, and every staff member completes a polar expedition internship before their first voyage, while experienced staff receive ongoing professional training.
