On this journey, the DeWonder Travel team will venture deep into the icy world of Antarctica to explore this magnificent yet fragile ecosystem. Along the way, we will observe a variety of wildlife such as penguins, seals and whales, gaining insight into the roles these species play within the ecosystem, understanding their importance, and examining the threats that climate change poses to Antarctica's unique environment and biodiversity.
Founded in 1991, Quark Expeditions brings 33 years of experience specialising in taking travellers to remote polar regions. The team operates a professional fleet of expedition vessels equipped with modern facilities and led by seasoned polar experts and scientists. All expedition staff receive comprehensive training at the Quark Academy, and every staff member takes part in a polar expedition internship before their first voyage, while experienced staff undergo ongoing professional training.
Beyond traditional polar cruising, Quark Expeditions also offers a range of activities such as glacier hiking, kayaking and helicopter expeditions, allowing us to experience the magnificent polar landscapes and abundant wildlife in diverse ways. The team will also share their expertise across various fields including polar history, marine biology, glaciology, ornithology and photography.

Aboard the cruise, cabins feature picture windows or balconies so you can admire the magnificent polar scenery at any time, while swift landings let you enjoy the most time on the Antarctic Peninsula.
The ship is fully equipped with everything you need, including dining, an outdoor pool, a spa centre, an observation deck and more.

- ✓All local transport in Argentina during the tour, with coach transfers throughout (except during free time)
- ✓Accommodation during the tour in Argentine hotels and on the Antarctic cruise in double rooms, two persons sharing (upgrade to a single room for a supplement of HKD 55,000)
- ✓All local meals during the tour (breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, except during free time)
- ✓At least one DeWonder Travel in-depth tour leader guiding the group
- ✓Admission fees to all attractions during the itinerary (excluding free time)
- ✓An Antarctica information pack, travel notes and related reading materials compiled by experts and the DeWonder Travel team
- ✓A stamp duty equivalent to 0.15% of the tour fare, to obtain protection under the Travel Industry Compensation Fund and the Package Tour Accident Contingency Fund Scheme

Additional Notes
- During the trip, the local guide will present in English, while the in-depth tour leader will present in Cantonese. If needed, the tour leader can also provide supplementary explanations in English or Mandarin.
- The local guide may adjust the itinerary as circumstances require. Should part of the itinerary be unable to proceed as scheduled, our team will make every effort to provide the best alternative arrangements.
