Chris Leung is a travel programme host and producer who has helmed numerous ecology-focused travel shows over the years, including ViuTV's "Wandering" series and J2's "Backpacking" series. Rich in ecological knowledge and observation experience, he graduated with a bachelor's degree from Princeton University's Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. He has interned at grassland conservation areas in East Africa, watched whales up close within the Arctic Circle, camped on Alaskan glaciers, taken night walks through the Amazon rainforest, observed Komodo dragons up close in Indonesia, sought giant tortoises and hammerhead sharks on the "Evolution Islands" of the Galápagos, and tracked anteaters across the South American grasslands. Living by the spirit of "the world is vast — it would be a waste not to see it," he earned his Divemaster qualification in 2018, delivered two seasons of eight academically themed zoology online lectures in 2020–2021, and published two written works in 2019 and 2023 respectively: "Just Like That, Backpacking the Earth" and "Once More, Wandering the Earth."
