During this journey, the DeWonder Travel team delves deep into the Balkan nations, uncovering the relics steeped in socialist character to piece together the vanished Yugoslav federation. We wander through castles and churches that feel like stepping back in time, weave through rugged and nostalgic architecture, and soak up the coastal charm of the Balkan Peninsula. In Serbia, we visit the capital of the Yugoslav era and explore how life has changed from Tito's time to the post-civil-war period. In Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia, we return to the battlefields of Yugoslavia's disintegration and reflect on the ethnic conflicts that have shaped the Balkan Peninsula.

- ✓Accommodation in local hotel double rooms during the tour, per person on a twin-share basis (single-room upgrade available for a supplement of HKD 9,500)

- ✓An English-speaking Balkan expert guide accompanying the group
- ✓At least one DeWonder Travel in-depth tour leader accompanying the group
- ✓Admission fees to all attractions during the tour (excluding free time)
- ✓A Balkan information pack, Balkan travel notes and related reading materials compiled by our experts and the DeWonder Travel team
- ✓A stamp duty equivalent to 0.15% of the tour fee, to obtain the protection of the Travel Industry Compensation Fund and the Package Tour Accident Emergency Assistance Fund Scheme

- ✕Round-trip air tickets between Hong Kong and the Balkans
- ✕Additional personal expenses (meals during free time, drinks, activities outside the itinerary and souvenirs)
- ✕Tips for the tour leader, local guides and drivers, with a minimum of 20 euros per day
- ✕Balkan tourist visas (holders of Hong Kong and Macau passports may stay visa-free for 30 days)
- ✕Travel insurance
Additional Notes
- During the tour, local guides will give explanations in English, while the in-depth tour leader will explain in Cantonese. If needed, the tour leader can also provide supplementary explanations in English or Mandarin.
- If the hotels specified in the itinerary above are unable to provide accommodation, we will arrange for stays at hotels of the same standard.
- Local guides may adjust the itinerary according to circumstances at the time. If part of the itinerary cannot proceed as scheduled, our team will do its utmost to provide the best possible alternative.
