We have specially arranged gatherings with local families in the Kurdish Autonomous Region, to hear the Kurds' struggle for survival caught between opposing forces; visit the pilgrimage centre of the Shia Islamic world and personally feel the devout faith of the Muslims; and tour Saddam Palace—the symbol of dictator Saddam's totalitarian rule—to witness the glory of days past.

Tour Cost
Included
- ✓All local transport in Iraq during the trip, with a tour coach throughout (except during free time)
- ✓Double-room accommodation at Iraqi hotels during the trip, half a room per person (for a single-room upgrade, the surcharge is HKD 5,900)
- ✓All local meals during the trip (breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, except during free-activity time)
- ✓An English-speaking Iraq expert guide accompanying the group
- ✓Led by at least one DeWonder Travel in-depth tour leader
- ✓Admission fees for all attractions during the itinerary (except during free time)
- ✓An Iraq information pack, Iraq travel tips and related reading materials compiled by experts and the DeWonder Travel team
- ✓A stamp fee equivalent to 0.15% of the tour fee, to obtain the protection of the "Travel Industry Compensation Fund" and the "Package Tour Accident Emergency Assistance Fund Scheme"

- ✕Round-trip flights between Hong Kong and Iraq
- ✕Additional personal expenses (meals during free time, food and beverages, activities outside the itinerary, and souvenirs)
- ✕Tips for the tour leader, Iraqi guides and drivers, with a minimum of US$20 per day

Additional Notes
- During the itinerary, the local guide will give explanations in English, while the in-depth tour leader will explain in Cantonese. If needed, the tour leader can also provide supplementary explanations in English or Mandarin.
- If the hotels specified in the above itinerary are unable to provide accommodation, we will arrange a stay at a hotel of the same class.
- The local guide may adjust the itinerary content according to circumstances at the time. If part of the itinerary cannot proceed as scheduled, our team will make every effort to provide the best alternative arrangements.
- Those who have visited Israel (with Israeli entry/exit stamps on a valid passport) are prohibited from entering Iraq. Please take special note that we do not accept such persons on this tour.
