The DeWonder Travel team takes you to visit the region's most important monasteries and discover the social significance and symbolism of Buddhism in Tibet; step into the homes of local Tibetans as their guest to understand their daily lives and their views on the social changes of recent years; admire Mount Everest up close and visit the world's highest monastery; visit a thangka academy and paint your own one-of-a-kind thangka; and stay in premium hotels throughout, offering a comfortable resting environment that makes it easier to adapt to the high plateau.

Tour Cost
Included
- ✓All local transport in Tibet during the tour, with a coach throughout (except during free time)
- ✓Double-room hotel accommodation in Tibet during the tour, two persons sharing per room (upgrade to a single room for a supplement of HKD 4,900)
- ✓All local meals during the tour (breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, except during free time)
- ✓One expert Tibet guide accompanying the group
- ✓At least one DeWonder Travel in-depth tour leader guiding the group
- ✓Admission fees to all attractions during the itinerary (excluding free time)
- ✓A Tibet information pack, Tibet travel tips and related reading materials compiled by experts and the DeWonder Travel team
- ✓A stamp fee equivalent to 0.15% of the tour fare, to obtain protection under the "Travel Industry Compensation Fund" and the "Package Tour Accident Emergency Assistance Fund Scheme"
Not Included
- ✕Round-trip transportation between Hong Kong and Tibet
- ✕Additional personal expenses (meals during free time, food and drink, activities outside the itinerary, and souvenirs)
- ✕Tips for the tour leader, Tibet guide and driver, with a minimum amount of RMB 1,500
- ✕China entry visa (not applicable if you hold a Home Return Permit)
- ✕Tibet Travel Permit (the permit application fee for non-HKSAR passport holders is HKD 600)
- ✕Travel insurance
Additional Notes
- During the tour, the local guide will give explanations in Mandarin, while the in-depth tour leader will explain in Cantonese. If needed, the tour leader can also provide supplementary explanations in English or Mandarin.
- If the hotels specified in the above itinerary are unable to provide accommodation, we will arrange a stay at a hotel of the same class.
- The local guide may adjust the itinerary according to the circumstances at the time. Should any parts of the itinerary be unable to proceed as scheduled, our team will make every effort to provide the best alternative arrangements.
