Currently, holders of a Hong Kong or Macau SAR passport can enter Morocco visa-free, with no need to apply for a visa in advance—you can enter directly.

Overall, Morocco is a relatively safe travel destination, but when shopping or sightseeing in crowded places such as the old city (Medina), you should always keep an eye on your personal belongings, avoid displaying valuables, and try not to go out alone at night. Some local strangers may approach you or enthusiastically offer to guide you; we advise ignoring approaches from strangers on the street and not readily following strangers to their homes. If you need directions, we suggest asking nearby shopkeepers or hotel staff to ensure your safety. The alleys within Morocco's old cities are intricate and Google Maps may not be accurate enough, so we recommend downloading the maps.me offline maps in advance so you can navigate without an internet connection.

Morocco is an Islamic country, but its social customs are relatively free and open, and there are no overly strict rules regarding clothing. Nevertheless, as a traveller, it remains very important to respect the local culture and religious customs. Women only need to wear a headscarf when entering a mosque and need not wear one at other times; nor is it necessary to cover the entire head completely—the main aim is to cover the hair. You may choose different materials, styles and colours, and use hairpins to secure the scarf and prevent it from slipping. When entering a mosque, women must wear long sleeves and long trousers or a long skirt, and must not expose the ankles or the back of the neck; men must wear long trousers and may not wear sandals or slippers. In addition, if your itinerary includes a pool experience, you may bring a swimsuit to enjoy the hotel's pool facilities.

In the Sahara Desert, travellers will stay at a luxury tented camp and experience the unique charm of the desert. Large luggage will be transported to the camp by dedicated vehicle, so travellers can travel light. As the camp relies on solar power and the voltage is limited, hair dryers and self-provided electric kettles cannot be used, to avoid causing a power outage across the entire camp. The camp will arrange a set time for the shared use of hair dryers. The tents are equipped with USB sockets for charging mobile phones, and we recommend travellers fully charge all camera batteries and power banks the night before to ensure the journey is unaffected.

Currently, there are no mandatory vaccination requirements for travelling from Hong Kong or Macau to Morocco, and there is no need to present proof of yellow fever or other vaccinations. If you have any special health conditions, we recommend consulting your family doctor or a travel clinic before departure.

The currency used in Morocco is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). Large hotels, restaurants, and some shops accept international credit cards such as Visa and MasterCard, but in traditional markets (Souks), old town districts, or with small vendors, cash is mostly the norm. We recommend bringing Euros for incidental expenses; upon arrival, we will arrange for everyone to exchange Moroccan Dirhams at the airport or in the city for daily use.

The official languages of Morocco are Arabic and Berber, with French also widely spoken. In tourist hotspots and hotels, basic English communication poses little difficulty. However, in old town markets or remote areas, locals' English proficiency is more limited, so our local guides and tour leaders will assist with basic communication.

Travel between cities is mainly by comfortable tour coaches, with journey times depending on distance and road conditions. The old town alleys are narrow, and some areas require walking in and out; entering the Sahara Desert involves arranging 4WD vehicles to transfer to the camp.

Morocco is renowned for signature dishes such as tagine, grilled meats, and couscous, with rich flavours but natural spices. Most restaurants offer vegetarian options such as vegetable tagine and bean stews. If you have special dietary needs, such as vegan, gluten-free, or food allergies, please let us know in advance when registering, and we will help make arrangements.
During the trip, we will also try to arrange a variety of dining experiences, including Western restaurants, authentic Moroccan cuisine, and Chinese food.
