Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Why journey to Mongolia with us?

For ten years, the DeWonder team has focused on crafting unique, in-depth itineraries that take you across Mongolia's magnificent deserts and grasslands, exploring hidden cultural realms and historical relics, and experiencing the free-spirited nomadic civilisation of Mongolia.

Visit Karakorum and Terelj National Park, follow in the footsteps of Genghis Khan, and discover the legend of his life.

Covering Ulaanbaatar, the Bayan sand dunes, the Orkhon Valley and Hustai National Park, journey deep across Mongolia and take in its ever-changing, diverse natural landscapes.

Be a guest of a nomadic family, share distinctive local dishes, chat about daily life, and feel the genuine warmth of the Mongolian people.

Step into a herder's ger and experience the daily life of a nomadic people: milk the cows, shear the sheep, and make dairy products with your own hands, drawing close to authentic life on the grasslands.

We deeply understand the wonder of community, so our in-depth Mongolia tours depart with an average of 8–14 people, capped at 18.

Mongolia has a short spring and summer (May to August) and a long autumn and winter (September to the following April). Spring and summer enjoy abundant sunshine and pleasantly warm weather, making them the peak travel season; in autumn and winter, strong winds and heavy snow arrive and lakes freeze into thick ice, offering a completely different scene. Please note that the weather in Mongolia is changeable throughout all four seasons, with frequent strong winds and large temperature differences between day and night, so keeping warm is essential.
